Tarot de Marseille (Grimaud) - and an update on RS and other news

grimaudFrom a vendor in France, I purchased the 1st edition of the Grimaud Tarot de Marseille (1930), unique in some special ways (a marvelous bright yellow shield on the Four of Pentacles--with three fleur-de-lis on it; so lovely). I now have all of the French editions of the Grimaud series from 1930 to 2012, including a recent reprint of the 1930 edition which I highly recommend for anyone looking for one "traditional" deck to have in the bag. Either that or choose Jodorowsky's recent TdM which claims "accuracy" in look based on his research but is unsubstantiated as yet except by the claim itself--meaning we have to take his word for it. Jodorowsky is a bit of an actor, so taking his word for it isn't quite the same as, say, taking Stuart Kaplan's word for it. Nevertheless, it's a very nice deck with a good feel, and I like it and have no hesitation recommending that you get one.

I've found some absolutely stunning material in the intuition/psychic exercises realm, too, in preparation for RS, along with finally getting a really clear picture of how it all* fits and is best presented to make sense. I'm thinking of offering a free one-day workshop on that (just the part of how it comes together and a menu of "best exercises")--an extended version of the two to three hour session I'll be doing on Saturday night at
